Send and receive money through Gmail
If you have friends who owe you money and do not reply to you on WhatsApp or Facebook, you can now collect those debts through Gmail for Android.
Google announced that the application of their mail service is able to send and receive money, and doing so is as simple as attaching a file in a message. This feature is supported by Google Wallet.
The tool for sending and receiving money already existed in the web version, but for the first time reaches the mobile version of the service.
In Gmail Web you can press the $ symbol in the window to compose a new mail, although this service is only available in the US.
To send money in the Gmail app for Android, you must open the edit window of a new mail; Then press the file attach icon and choose the money send option.
Once that is done, you define how much money you want to send, what account will be registered and who will receive it. The recipient must also have Google Wallet.
For now, Gmail for Android is the only version of the service that has this enabled, as do Gmail users in the United States
